Pangea

80cm x 80cm

Acrylic and Spray Paint on Canvas

Pangea reflects the interconnections of humanity and nature through a vibrant imagined landscape divided yet still unified by color, movement, and form. Created in response to SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, the painting explores the tension between abundance and imbalance reminding us that the Earth’s resources, though rich and diverse, are shared and finite.

The flowing organic shapes, layered textures, and luminous palette symbolize cycles of growth, renewal, and coexistence, while the fractured composition suggests the environmental and social divisions created by unsustainable consumption. Pangea ultimately envisions a future where harmony can be restored through conscious production, collective responsibility, and a deeper respect for the planet we all inhabit
