This special artwork is inspired by the remarkable story of Richard Parks—the former professional Welsh rugby player who, after a life-changing injury, reinvented himself as one of the world's elite adventurers.
Parks made history as the first person to climb the Seven Summits and reach both the North and South Poles within a single calendar year.
Having experienced his own journey of reinvention as an artist, Richard Crosbie understands that everyone faces their own "Seven Summits"—those personal challenges that can feel overwhelming and insurmountable at times. This piece captures the exact moment we confront these challenges, illustrating how perseverance and courage enable us to overcome them.
